The 2009 Expo East Show was held in Boston (also the site of BarsAreFood.com HQ) and we were on hand to seek out new bar offerings.
Fortunately, there were a ton of new bars, as well as lots of old favorites. Here’s a quick rundown of the new stuff that we saw at the show:
- Clif “C” – Clif Bar’s answer to the likes of KIND and other less-processed bars is “C”, a line of bars that are made with fruits, nuts, and salt. Available in several flavors
—- - ProBar “fruition” — This is more of a snack bar than a meal replacement bar (like ProBar’s flagship line), blending fruit, nuts and oats into an amazingly delicious format.
—- - Luna Protein – Clif is taking its Luna Bar lineup into the protein bar category, with their first effort to make protein bars for women.
—- - Honest Foods - They’ve responded to customer feedback (and people like us) and tweaked their Blueberry Granola Plank Bar to have less vanilla. Yay!
