Gnu Foods: Chocolate Brownie Bar

Having tried only a few of Gnu Foods’ bars, we’ve become quick fans of this brands fiber boosted products.  This one has 12g of fiber, which blows away most other bars out there, especially when you factor in the product’s meager 140 calories.  Flavor is superb, delivering a “chocolate brownie” flavor that’s spot on and a pleasant slightly chewy, baked consistency.   Whole grains have been added to the mix, which add to the nutrition content and give the product its wholesome flavor.   Our only “complaint” is the size of the bar, which, at least on an empty stomach, isn’t big enough to satisfy.  Label design is appealing and has personality, although the front of the label has a lot going on.    Still an exceptional bar that’s big on flavor and nutrition.
